To the House of Commons. The Petition of the supporters of Jamil el-Banna declares that they welcome the decision of the Government of the United States of America to clear Jamil el-Banna for release. The Petitioners believe that Jamil el-Banna should not be transferred to Jordan, where his life could be in danger, and therefore request that the House of Commons ask the Secretary of State for Home Affairs to readmit Jamil el-Banna to the UK and to make arrangements for his return with immediate effect. And the Petitioners remain, etc.
