TODAY'S strike by tube maintenance workers was hailed a success by the RMT union.
Transport for London at 11am was reporting severe delays on Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines and part suspensions on District and Metropolitan Lines.
RMT representatives also reported failures on the Victoria Line throughout the day.
But at 5pm tonight (Feb 5), TfL's website said there were no major disruptions.
Bob Crow, RMT General Secretary, said: "Our members are rock solid in their support for this strike action and in their determination to defend their jobs and working conditions.
"The disruption across the tube today is entirely down to the intransigence of London Underground management and we are monitoring closely for any signs that they are taking risks with staff and passenger safety."
The action involves 750 London Underground members in a dispute over new rosters, what they say are breaches of agreements and the handing of work to external contractors.
RMT members have been instructed not to work overtime, nor to work between 6.45am today (Fri Feb 5) and 6.45am on Saturday (Feb 6).
Further action is to take place from 6.45am on Sunday February 14 and 6.45am on Monday February 15, and Sunday to Monday mornings until further notice.
