There were some clear voting trends

Thursday's poll saw some massive voting shifts in individual wards. The decline in the Labour vote was nearly 25 per cent in Kilburn. In six wards there was a swing of more than 20 per cent from Labour to the Liberal Democrats. The biggest swing recorded was in Carol Shaw's Brondesbury Park ward where 29.7 per cent of the Tory vote from 2002 shifted to the Lib Dems. Here is the Times list of key electoral statistics.
